Elder Care & Home Care

Care plans from Rs. 69,000 a month.

Three monthly plans, 7am to 4pm, at home in Veyangoda and across the Gampaha district. Every plan starts with a free conversation and a visit to meet your parent, and the price is confirmed before anything is arranged.

Side by side

What each plan includes.

Indicative, not a contract. Your parent's own care plan is written by Sujeewa after meeting them and can be adjusted, so treat this as what each plan is built for rather than a fixed list.

Which plan is actually the better deal

Complete is the best value. Essential is the smallest amount of help you can buy.

Those are two different things, and it is worth being straight about which is which before you choose.

What each plan costs per hour of care, at about 4.3 weeks a month.
PlanHours a monthCost per hour
Essentialabout 104Rs. 662
Completeabout 235Rs. 422
Family Plusabout 274Rs. 471

Complete works out cheapest per hour because a full day costs less to staff than the same hours split up. Essential costs the most per hour and is still the right plan for a parent who only needs help with the morning, because you are buying four hours, not nine. Family Plus adds a seventh day and the coordination work that comes with a family abroad.

What you can hold us to.

Care starts tomorrow We visit and agree a plan, then care can begin the next day, within 24 hours of your call.
No lock-in Month to month. Leave on one week's notice, whenever you like, for any reason.
We review after week one A proper conversation about whether the plan and the caregiver are right, before a second month is paid.
No joining fee No membership, no registration charge, and no minimum number of days to book.
More than daytime cover

24-hour and live-in care.

Priced from Rs. 185,000 a month and always after an individual assessment, because round-the-clock care depends entirely on how much help your parent actually needs at night.

If your parent needs someone overnight, or needs help getting to the bathroom after dark, call and describe the situation. We will tell you honestly whether this is the right arrangement or whether a nursing service would suit your parent better.

Priced separately

What is not inside a monthly plan.

These are arranged for you and charged on their own, so the monthly figure stays a figure you can rely on.

  • Registered nurse visits
  • Wound care & dressings
  • Physiotherapy
  • Doctor consultations
  • Laboratory tests
  • Transport
  • Medication
  • Groceries
  • Equipment

Nursing work is Suwasetha's own clinical service, so a dressing or a catheter change happens without bringing in a stranger. See wound care and nursing prices →

Wound Care & Clinical Nursing

Nursing prices, for when a plan needs clinical work.

Sujeewa does these herself. They are charged on their own rather than folded into a monthly plan, so the plan price stays a figure you can rely on. Starting prices, confirmed before anything is arranged.

from Rs. 2,500

Urinary catheter insertion and care

Fitting, changing when due, and looking after it in between visits. A doctor's referral is needed.

from Rs. 8,000

NG tube insertion

A feeding tube through the nose, for a patient who cannot eat normally. A doctor's referral is needed.

from Rs. 8,000

from Rs. 1,500

General nursing care

Injections, monitoring, and support for the family doing the caring.

Travel to your home

The first 5 km is free. Charged by zone after that, confirmed on the call and paid in advance.

free to Rs. 2,500

Wound care and nursing run on their own hours: weekday evenings 5.30pm to 9pm, weekends 3pm to 9pm, closed on poya days. Elder care runs 7am to 4pm. Full wound care details →

How the detail gets settled

The plan is agreed with your family, not read off a list.

The lists above describe what each plan is built for. What your parent's caregiver actually does on a given day comes from a care plan Sujeewa writes after meeting them, and it changes as your parent's needs change.

We would rather agree that properly with you than publish a line-by-line checklist and have you discover in month two that something you were counting on was never in it. Ask about anything specific on the call and you will get a straight answer about whether it is included, arranged separately, or not something we do.

Not sure which plan fits?

Describe your parent's day on the phone and we will tell you which plan covers it, or tell you that a smaller one is enough. There is no charge for the conversation. Sujeewa or Ranjana answers between 7am and 10pm.
